Intercultural Communication in Health Services![]() This course is aimed at professionals who work in different fields of the Health Service and who, in the course of their work, need to interact in an effective and appropriate way with patients coming from different cultural backgrounds. The course highlights the influence of culture on the attitudes of patients towards health (care) and disease and takes into account the way to handle conflict with multicultural patients, how to build up trust and cooperation with their relatives and how to work with language as an important part of the identity of multicultural patients. |
